In the beginning God created heaven and earth;
The plants, the mountains, the animals and the birds
God formed man from the dust of the earth;
Filled man with His very own breath
So right from the beginning we were filled with God’s own worth
Made in His image, wrapped in His glory
Walking daily in His presence, it was more than just a creation story
But somewhere along the line it all shifted
“Who told you that you were naked?”
It was that serpent; that heaven reject
Right from the beginning, he tried to tamper with our salvation
Using the veil of deception,
he covered our sense of vision
Shifting our minds from God’s initial plan during creation
With his deceptive tales,
he covered our lives and potential with a veil
A veil of deception, lies, a veil of shyness and doubt, a veil of fear and I can’t do spirit
A veil of pride and pomposity
David was known as shepherd but behind the veil was the king of Israel
Known as a slave Hebrew boy, but behind the veil Daniel was a great advisor
Hadassah was an orphan girl, but behind the veil was Queen Esther, who saved her people from destruction
He was known as a carpenter’s son but behind the veil, he was the savior of the world
But thank God, that when Christ said it was finished, the veil was torn from top to bottom
We were ushered in to the Most Holy Place
So what is the name of your veil?
Take it off and unleash what God has placed inside of you
Too long, your potential has been under curfew
It is time for it to come under preview
The world is awaiting you
Creation is in earnest expectation of the manifestation of your abilities put into action
‘Cos behind the veil is a holy nation, a royal priesthood, a spectacle to behold
Behind the veil is you, so come out
