That I may please Him…

Genesis 6:5-6
[5]The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination and intention of all human thinking was only evil continually.
[6]And the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved at heart.

Some people don’t understand that a God who knows the beginning and the end will “grieve” or “regret” when He knew the outcome already.
I don’t fully understand God’s omniscience, but I am not surprised that He grieves and regrets. I grieve and I also regret and I was made in His likeness.

How do I respond to such a scripture as a Christian? I live a life that pleases God that won’t get God to the point to regret and to grieve. After all, God gives us grace to help us live for Him.
