The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination and intention of all human thinking was only evil continually.
And the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved at heart.
Some people don’t understand that a God who knows the beginning and the end will “grieve” or “regret” when He knew the outcome already.
I don’t fully understand God’s omniscience, but I am not surprised that He grieves and regrets. I grieve and I also regret and I was made in His likeness.
How do I respond to such a scripture as a Christian? I live a life that pleases God that won’t get God to the point to regret and to grieve. After all, God gives us grace to help us live for Him.
